Take a Break from Disneyland Park with a Pirate’s Dinner Adventure!

There is no disbuting the fact that Disneyland is chocked full of fun things to see and do.  What you may not know is that if you venture a short distance outside of the park, you will find a bevy of other incredible sites to experience.  Do yourself a favor and take an evening off from the park and make reservations at the Pirate’s Dinner Adventure in Buena Park (about a 10 minute drive from Disneyland).  This experience is perfect for those who have “pirate fanatics” living in their home.  From the moment you walk into the doors of the building, you are transported into a swashbuckling adventure.  Before the dinner part of your evening begins, there is a wine and appetizer preshow.  You and your guests will venture all of the building, sampling delicious hor de’oerves and mingling with other guests of the show.  Then, suddenly out of the blue, a commotion will ring out and you will see a large number of pirates assembling in the main hall for some pre-show entertainment.  The main show area is like a small amphitheatre surrounding a large pirate ship stage that appears as though it is floating on an ocean.  Once the show begins, you will be cheering on your favorite pirates and hoping that your designated ones win.  Don’t be surprised if some of the pirates ask your children to go onto the ship with them.  Some of these children will be dressed as pirates, the others will be dressed as the “red coats” completed with muskets, white wigs and jackets.  You have a large variety of choices for dinner.  Though not extravagant, they are tasty.  There is also a children’s menu to appease even the pickiest of eaters.  The pyrotechnics and special effects of this show along with the humorous and talented actors make this experience truly enjoyable for all ages.
