When you travel to Disneyland, one of the greatest things about its location is how close it is to many other sites and attractions. One of the most favorite things that tourists like to do at night after a long day in the Disneyland is to venture 10 minutes away to Medieval Times. Located in Buena Park, this medieval dueling knights dinner show attracts thousands of visitors each month and is great entertainment for all ages. Advanced reservations are highly recommended, especially during busy tourist seasons. You can purchase these tickets in person or online at www.medivaltimes.com. The tickets are $53.95 for adults and $36.95 for children under 12 years of age. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by a renaissance knight who will assign you a certain color (red, green, yellow or blue). You will sit in your assigned color section which means you will be cheering for the knight wearing that particular color. Throughout the evening, your knights will be dueling one another on horseback while fighting for the hand of the fair maiden. While you watch the show, you will be dining on dining fare reminiscent of medieval days….without the use of utensils! This is a favorite among kids! A tasty menu of roasted chicken, potatoes, bread and pastries make it a well rounded and authentic dinner. Your evening will end with a trip into the gift shop where you can load up your knights with swords and armour and your princesses with maiden hair wreathes. Medieval Times is a must-see for those in the area.
